Chapter I: Memories
He turned the keys and started the engine. I always wished I could get a new car. But what use is a new car when you're not going to live long enough to use it? That's what I always say. But this time around, I'm not going to live long enough for sure. I just know it.

He felt a gust of cold wind as he opened the door of the building under which lay Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rentals. Why would they need my Funtime models? And the old ones? It doesn't seem right. Something's off. Whatever. I earned this. Created this. And I'll... end it. If I can.
"You are here, Mr. Afton"
My first destination. My direct creations. My daughter, and the agony of many more.
"So, you have come, at last, father. You have come, at last, to face what you did. Haven't you? You think you're goin-- unhh"
Controlled shocks. I knew they were never mine to command. Hence, I created a new way to make them do my bidding. But, what right do I have, to use this? I don't deserve to command, let alone live!
"You are emotionally weak, aren't you, Afton? You have merely stunned our leader!"
No, I can't do this. I can't. I'll bring myself to it. Soon enough. I guess.

"Alright, thanks for the help, man."
"You're welcome. Hope you'll find him- real soon."
****
No, no, no! I cowered before my own creation! But then again, they are the most dangerous of them all. I made them. I must bring myself to it. I must continue onwards, through the path of redemption.
He yawned and hid underneath his blanket... in the comforts of his bedroom.

"You're mentally wrecked, Mr. Afton. You must put the past behind you. Ignore the call. It isn't necessary, is it?"
Of course, it is! This is Fazbear Entertainment we are talking about! "No," though was his reply.
"Good. And, this "path of redemption". Just leave it alone, Mr. Afton. You're an old man, true. But that doesn't mean that you aren't living a meaningless life. Just rest for a few days. And, don't worry. You have at least sent five animatronics to New York."
Not exactly. Just neutralized their threat. And then sealed them in large crates. But, I guess that takes courage in itself.
"Alright then, Mr. Afton! I hope I have helped. Just lay your criminal past behind yourself, and you'll be fine."
"Thank you, Dr. Wyatt."
