My guess is that Freddy's was another location (or in the works) at the time and not as popular as Fredbears. So CC had nightmares about all of them, only worsened by the bullies. After he died, the Nightmares transferred to Michael and he started having the nightmares. Nightmare Mangle, Nightmare BB and Nightmarrione (is that how you spell it?) are all Michael's creations, because he got to see those things in Freddy Fazbear's Jr. (and yes, I know the Halloween update isn't canon, but I always thought it was a cool way to tie together both theories, and the Halloween one was just a nifty head canon)

My thoughts are that Fnaf 4 is C.C's nightmare's on the days of the minigame's and that the reason that the bully's had masks from the fazbear band was because they were selling merchandise from the tv show. Also I think the show animatronics look like un nightmare animatronics because they actually look kind of down budget if they were fixed and this is 1983 we are talking about.

Its equally likely that Mike is our player in the maingame, we just know that CC and mike aren’t the same person.
