After about one year, I have completed a passion project. I stopped it for a while because of the pandemic, and then school, but I finally created a layout for a multiplayer FNAF game that I translated into a 2-part post. enjoy!
(also anyone can make drawings and designs for the game concept)
Summary
FNAF: back together is a first-person game which is similar to “secret neighbor”, where a group of up to 8 people split into 2 teams of 4 each. One of those teams is the survivors, who need to gather items to help them survive from 12:00 to 6:00 A.M, while the other team is the animatronics, who need to do different objectives based on the map and the type of animatronics. The game ends when either the survivors live until 6:00 or the animatronics do their goal.
Story
TBD (I need help making this part)
Maps
Freddy Fazbears pizza: the original location. The goal of the animatronics is to knock out all the survivors and bring them to the backstage area. This location has a limited supply of power, so when it reaches 4:00, the lights become very dim, and the office’s cams and doors become inactive.
The new Freddy Fazbears: the location from the second game. The goal of the animatronics is to knock out the player who is the security guard while the other survivors are in the party room by any means necessary (KOed, stunned, living). At least one player must be the survivor “security guard”. This map has vents which certain animatronics can use to teleport through the pizzeria.
Fazbear Frights: the horror attraction from the third game. The goal of the animatronic is to knock out all the survivors, while the goal of the phantoms is to distract all the survivors. This map has 1 vent and a maintenance tablet item instead of a computer.
The house: a house. The goal of the animatronics is to kill the survivors. The survivor “security guard” is unselectable on this map. The survivors cannot leave the bedroom, and each of them are supplied with a flashlight. Also, if they are knocked out, instead of waiting 20 seconds to wake up, they are put into a recreation of the plushtrap minigame. If they fail, they are killed, and are unable to come back. They can still spectate, though.
Circus baby’s rental: the storage facility from the fifth game. The goal of the animatronics is to knock out at least 1 survivor, move them to the scooping room, and activate the scoop, and then have all animatronics in the scooping room. All the survivors on this map are the “security guard”. Also, survivors have a special goal to scoop all the animatronics. There are many vents around the place to travel easier, as well as shock panels to stun nearby animatronics.
Freddy’s pizza place: this map is the only map where the map is split into 2 sections: the vents and the main room. This map is also special because 2 players play as daytime animatronics. The goal of the vent animatronics is to knock out a survivor to steal a keycard, access the office (part of the vents), and open the hatch. The daytime animatronics must distract the survivors long enough for the vent animatronics to win. One survivor every game starts with a keycard to access the office, but other players start with a handful of tokens, which they can spend on the prize king to (hopefully) get a keycard, or other games.
